Promoting Excellence among students in electricity-related professions

Eneo eases school resumption for the best students in the electricity, electronics, and electronic systems maintenance-installation pathways at Lycée technique de Koumassi.

"This prize is timely. Thanks to it, I already have what I need for workshop-based practicals this school year. I am quite grateful to Eneo,” declared a Première F3 (electricity) student. He is one of the twenty students who performed brilliantly and, as such, received support from Eneo. Overall, 20 students received significant supplies made up of current clamps, multimeters, and a kit — made up of screwdrivers and pliers—, work attire alongside helmets, and safety boots.

An overall budget of close to 10 million CFAF was allocated to commend the efforts of the most deserving students in electricity and related professions. This action is part of our company’s corporate social responsibility activities. Eneo keeps alive its partnership with this technical school in order to provide the best training conditions. “The courses chosen are consistent with the agreement signed between Eneo and LYTEKO.

This agreement aims to help optimise the training of students studying electricity and related courses in order to increase their chances of entering the job market,” stated Christian NGOUFACK, the representative of the Douala Regional Director.

In addition to this special provision given to students, the school’s workshop for practicals was equipped with cutting-edge equipment. Some of the electricity equipment, worth 30 million, include, among others, alternator generators, low frequency generator, oscilloscopes, and digital ammeters. The company is planning to do even more. In fact, to improve on the learning environment, it is planning to fully renovate this workshop.

Eneo is thus contributing to train the electricians and leaders of the sector tomorrow…
