Disconnection and reconnection (Part)
Your energy supply may be disconnected for the following reasons:
• Non-payment or late payment of your bills;
• Tampering with your meter.
• Upon request.
Where in spite of these provisions, the bill is not paid within 60 days after the payment deadline; Eneo Cameroon may terminate the subscription concerned notwithstanding the legal or judicial proceedings and, eventually, uninstall the connection.
Reconnection
Eneo Cameroon must reconnect electricity upon payment by the Customer at the Eneo Cameroon Commercial Agency. If Eneo Cameroon does not comply with the procedure and Deadline to reconnect electricity provided in article 14.5, it will spontaneously grant to the Customer concerned, per day of default, a credit of 2% of the average monthly energy billed to the latter during the last 12 months of supply of energy.
Reconnection costs
Reconnection costs are not a penalty imposed on defaulting customers. They are required to compensate for the costs (labour, transport, etc) incurred by Eneo Cameroon to restore electricity supply.
