Douala, 04 October 2022- Eneo Cameroon stands in solidarity with its customers impacted by the serious incident that occurred on 20 September 2022, affecting SONATREL facilities in Logbaba. This incident knocked out the 90/15 kV 50 MVA transformer of the “Key Accounts” substation, considerably impacting the stability of electricity supply to some public sector customers.
Eneo Cameroon informs its customers in the Littoral, Centre, South-West, South, West and North-West Regions that the ratio between the quantity of power generated and the demand for electricity in these Regions reveals a residual deficit leading to sporadic rationing.
Eneo Cameroon is hereby informing residents of Garoua and its environs that it will release, between September and October 2022, some of the water in the Lagdo hydroelectric dam. This urgent measure is due to the fact that 91% of the dam has been filled as well as current and future rainfall trends.
