Improving the Stability of Electricity Supply

In a bid to improve electricity supply, Eneo Cameroon S.A announces to its customers that it will  

on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June 2017, carry out on some major work on the transmission system. These curative and preventive maintenance operations will disrupt electricity supply in the neighbourhoods and localities concerned.

During the work, measures will be taken to minimize the duration of the blackout and the number of customers without power. Eneo advises those affected to use other sources of energy if necessary, as well as to unplug all sensitive appliances and to reconnect them at least 15 minutes after the effective restoration of power.

Eneo also announces that regarding the reinforcement of its distribution network, some minor projects (Replacement of wood poles or transformers; Changing of cables, etc…) will be carried out in some neighbourhoods and localities.
