Works on the return to service of electric towers refurbished at Nsimalen following destruction by criminals in July 2016

Eneo Cameroon informs its customers at Nsimalen, Mbalmayo, Mfou, Ebolowa and environs that its teams completed refurbishment works on three vandalized electric towers in July 2016 not far from Nsimalen on the straps of the Ahala-Mbalmayo transmission line.

These towers will be reintroduced into the network on Sunday 07 January 2018 thus replacing the provisional and fragile facilities that ensured the continuity of service since the criminal acts were committed.

Works on the reconfiguration of the network with new towers are scheduled from 6am to 6pm this Sunday.

At the same time, reinforcement work on the Mbalmayo –Ebolowa line will continue.

During the execution of works, electrical service will be interrupted or disrupted at Nsimalen Mbalmayo, Mfou, Ebolowa and environs.

Measures have been taken to ensure the supply of electricity to the Nsimalen International Airport through an alternative power source.
