Douala : Major works at the Bassa substation
Eneo Cameroon S.A hereby informs its customers in Douala that, in order to improve on its service quality, it is going to carry out major works at the Bassa substation from 4 to 5 November 2017 from 10pm to 6am.
Works will consist in rehabilitating the two units of the said substation. This operation would thus make it possible to improve on the transit of energy through the separation of two feeders that are presently connected to the same unit as well as reduce fault detection timeframes and consequently energy interruption timeframes during incidents.
There will be interruptions in electricity supply, due to these works, in the following neighbourhoods :
- Makepe Petit Pays (Zone derrière ESSEC),
- Ndogsimbi (PILCAM, UCB),
- Logbaba (SCIMPOS, Base Ketch, Emaillerie, BSF).
During the execution of works, measures will be taken to limit power outage duration and the number of customers without electricity.
Eneo urges its customers to activate their alternative sources of energy, where necessary, to disconnect all sensitive appliances and to reconnect the latter 15 minutes after the effective restoration of current
