Renforcement de la Sécurité du service électrique à Douala (2)

In a bid to improve its service quality, Eneo Cameroon S.A. announces to its Douala customers that, on Sunday, 08 October 2017, from 05:30 a.m. to 02 p.m., it will carry out maintenance work at the Deido and Makèpè substations.   

Technical teams shall carry out electrical repairs, replace defective components and conduct preventive checks.

This work will help to reduce the risks of incidents on these facilities and consequently improve service continuity. 

During the work, customers served by these substations will experience power outage. The areas concerned include:
Akwa MTN; Deido; Bonabassem; Bonabo; Bépanda; Akwa Nord; Bonéwonda; Bonamouang; Maképé; Bonamoussadi; Kotto; Mbangue; Lendi; Bonamoussadi Village; Logpom; Maetur; Logbessou; PK14 to Bonépoupa & environs.

Measures shall be taken to shorten the duration of the outage and the number of customers deprived of electricity. Eneo advises the customers affected to:
• resort to alternative sources of energy if necessary,
• unplug all sensitive appliances and
• reconnect them at least 15 mn after the effective restoration of power.
Eneo adds that with regard to the reinforcement of the distribution network, minor projects (replacement of wood poles or transformers, replacement of cables, etc…) have been planned for some neighbourhoods and localities.
