Improving the voltage in the town of Bamenda

As part of its plan to improve service quality in the town of Bamenda, Eneo Cameroon is announcing the execution of the second phase of its works to improve the quality of the town's voltage, which will end on 7 September 2017.

The work at this phase consists in replacing 100 damaged wood poles, implanting 30 metal poles and replacing 21 10KV transformers with new and three times more powerful transformers.

In addition to these works, the Bamenda transformer substation will be maintained from Saturday 02 to Sunday 03 September from 11pm to 6am. These works will require the disconnection of electricity supply in the entire North West region.

The work planned for Tuesday 5 September to wednesday 6 september will cause power disruptions in the town of Bamenda.

Eneo urges its customers in the localities concerned to unplug all delicate appliances and only plug them 15 minutes after electricity is restored.
