Reinforcing electricity supply safety in the South-West Region

In order to enhance its quality of service in the South-West Region,    Eneo Cameroon S.A hereby informs its customers that it is going to carry out on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August 2017 major maintenance works at its Limbe Mile2 and Limbe SONARA transformer substations.

Works will consist in maintenance of operation facilities, control of protection devices and the possible correction of anomalies. 

At the same time works on the reinforcement of the distribution network will be carried out on very important lines. 

These operations will lead to a disruption of electricity supply in the region precisely on:

• Saturday 19 August from Midnight to 7 am in the following areas: Tiko, Buea, Mutenguene, Muyuka and environs  and on
• Sunday 20 August from 6am to 5pm in  Limbe

Measures will be taken to limit the electricity outage time and the number of customers without electricity. Eneo calls on its customers concerned to activate their alternate sources of energy, if need be, to disconnect all sensitive appliances and only reconnect them 15 minutes following the effective return of current.
