Dibamba: ERS towers are being used to replace provisionally vandalized towers

The power plant supplies once again its 88MW capacity to the network.

Emergency Restoration System (ERS) are back-up towers that are easy to install, put up and easy to remove. It is an emergency solution that Eneo has in several parts in its stores. It makes it possible to get the conveyance line working again pending major refurbishment works on collapsed facilities occasioned by acts of vandalism.

At the moment, the network has been reconfigured but it is still fragile in this area. It is exposed to incidents that are likely to cause disruptions of energy supply.

The operation teams are vigilant and mobilized.
