Work for the stabilization of the Electricity Network in the Centre and South

In an effort to stabilize energy supply to its customers in the Centre and South regions during these end-of-year festivities, Eneo announces that it will carry out some major work on the main transmission network serving these localities. Thus there will be power outage on Sunday, 18 December 2016, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The localities concerned include : Oyomabang; Nkolbisson; Centrale Mefou; Ongot; Zamengoué; Mvog Betsi; Cité Verte; Partie Nkomkana; Nsimalen; Sangmélima and environs.

The corrective and preventive work aims at resolving anomalies that might disable these facilities. The aim is to mitigate the risks of incidents on these facilities, namely the  d'Oyomabang and d'Ahala.

Furthermore, connection studies and surveys shall be conducted within the framework of the MEMVELE project.

Eneo advices its customers in the localities concerned to resort to alternative sources of energy if necessary, and to unplug all delicate appliances and to reconnect them at least 15 minutes after the effective restoration of power.
