Eneo Cameroon announces the carrying out of emergency works at the Bamenda substation
Eneo Cameroon announces to its customers in the Northwest that it will be carrying out emergency works at its substation in Bamenda on Sunday, 31 July, 2016.
These works are intended to clear a fault discovered on the substation equipment. This fault has been causing some disruptions in power supply in recent days. If it is not clear fast, it may lead to some major disruptions in the coming days.
The work to be done this Sunday will require the switching off of the substation and therefore customers connected to it.
During these works, Eneo will supply power to the city of Bamenda using its local thermal plant. However, power supply will be interrupted in other areas around the North-West.
Eneo Cameroon advises that customers should
- Disconnect all their appliances and
- Only reconnect them 15 minutes after the effective return of power supply.
All our safety and energy-saving tips can be got from the Eneo website: www.eneocameroon.cm or by contacting the Customers Relations Center on 8010.
