Eneo Cameroon announces major works on the electric network in Douala

Eneo Cameroon informs its customers in Douala that it will carry out major works on its transmission and distribution network this Sunday, 31 July as from 6 a.m.

The works involve the replacement of defective poles, installation of distribution transformers in Beedi, Logpom, Logbessou, Yassa; pruning along the Logbaba-Koumassi lines, as well as maintenance of some operating equipment at the Koumassi substation. 

These preventive and curative works are intended to reduce the risk of incidents in the areas concerned.

During the works and for safety reasons, power supply will be interrupted in the following neighbourhood as from 6 a.m: 
 * Base chinoise Yassa,
 * Kodok 1 et 2,
 * Beedi,
 * Malangue,
 * Ndom plateau,
 * Club charly,
 *Logpom,
 * Logbessou,
 * Bali,
 * Bonadibong,
 * Centre commercial Akwa,
 * Koumassi,  
 * New-Bell,
 *Bur ,
 * Nkongmondo,
 * Marché central,
 * New-Bell,Clinique,
 * Bonanjo,
 * Zone portuaire,
 * Bonapriso,
 * Youpwe, 

Power supply will be restored to these areas progressively and as the various works are completed between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Eneo Cameroon advises that customers :
                 - Disconnect all their appliances and
                 - only reconnect them 15 minutes after the effective return of power supply.
