Radio Announcement : Eneo Cameroon announces that work will take place at the Koumassi, Bassa, Deido and Makepe transformer substations

Eneo Cameroon announces to its Douala customers that some major work will take place on Saturday, 12th March 2016 at the Koumassi substation and on Sunday, 13th March 2016 at the Bassa, Deido and Makepe substations.

The work involves installing new operation equipment and lines connecting to the Logbaba-Bassa-Deido-Bonaberi. This will make it possible to:

• the brief and frequent power disruptions caused by transmission system operations;
• increase the capacity of energy supply to households and industries, thereby improving the quality of service.

This work will cause power outage on Sunday, 13 March 2016, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the following neighbourhoods: Bonamoussadi, Makepe, Kotto, Mbangue, Lendih, Malangue, Mbedi, Logbessou, Logpom, PK8 à PK32, Bonepoupa, Bepanda, Akwa Nord, Bonaloka, New town aéroport, Akwa and Deido

It will also cause rotatory load shedding in Koumassi, Bonanjo , New Bell, Nkol louloun , Bali, Nkongmondo. 

Eneo Cameroon advises its customers in these areas

  • to disconnect their sensitive appliances and
  • to reconnect them only 15 minutes after the effective return of power.
