Emergency works further to an incident on the transport line Bekoko-Nkongsamba-Bamenda

Eneo Cameroon informs its customers in the West and North-West Regions that an incident occurred on Monday on 11 January 2015 on the 90 KV Bekoko- Nkongsamba-Bamenda transmission line.

The fault in question was detected at the level of the circuit breaker on tower 189 of this line in the Loum. The immediate control of the situation forestalled the complete disruption of electricity supply in the West and North-West Regions. However, disruptions were recorded between 6pm and 10 pm in certain localities of both regions up to 16 January 2016, date that Eneo is going to complete emergency works undertaken immediately following the occurrence of the incident. Thus, powerful technical teams were dispatched from Douala, on Monday in the afternoon.
